AJ's thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail: There are times when doing what you want and doing something good just slip into the same space. My Mom has cancer. I planned to hike the Appalachian Trail. Those two things happened together. Now I'm asking folks to help other women in need by pledging support for my trip. Enough people with just a penny a mile can do some good for those who do not have access to the type of care my mom has recieved. Thanks much and please follow me on my wanderings.

Riding the Dog back to FL. It's all I remembered and more. 24 hours on a bus is enough to make me miss walking already.
Your strength amazes me to come as far as you have come! It will be an experience to remember. I agree with Andrew in that bus rides are just about taking you to where you want to go. I am normally an avid runner but with being 22 weeks pregnant I dont feel too comfortable running. Lately, I ride in my car to or from work and stare in envy at all of the runners on the side of the road.
I think bus rides are the one instance where it truly is all about the destination and NOT the journey! see you soon!
